The Port of Motril-Granada is located southeast of the Iberian Peninsula, at the entrance of the Mediterranean Sea.
It is part of the network of Ports of General Interest of the State and its privileged geographical situation (90 nautical to the Autonomous City of Melilla and the northeastern area of Morocco) makes it a bridge between Europe and North Africa, thus creating important and advantageous means of communication, thanks also to our regular ferry lines.
The highway arrives directly at the Port, so the merchandise does not cross any urban nucleus until its destination, therefore, without traffic lights and its consequent saving of time and costs. It connects directly with the A-7 (motorway of the Mediterranean, from Algeciras to Barcelona) and with the A-44 (towards Madrid)
